After I baked the 4 cakes last week, I decided to bake a cake in both DinoPapa & DinoBoy's favourite flavour - Green Tea. I was able to find baking green tea powder in Phoon Huat and set off to bake it. This cake has lesser ingredients so the cake was put into the oven 20mins after I have started. About 40mins later the cake is ready!
I tried the cake and even though I do not fancy green tea, I kinda like the cake but I confess, I only had ONE slice. Well, I thought DinoBoy will like the cake but I was wrong, he pinched a small piece, put it in his mouth and declared that "It taste funny Mama." So the blessed DinoPapa gets to enjoy the 8" loaf cake by himself woohoo~
The verdict from DinoPapa? He love it very much! He said the cake has green tea flavour but its not over powering. So if you are a green tea fan, try baking this cake and let me know if you feels the same too.
