Once is NEVER enough! And so we were back to the Skyline Luge Sentosa again recently after having such great fun during our visits in June 2014. Knowing DinoBoy will be ecstatic I kept it till the last minute so that he can focus on his exam that week. When he got to know it 2 days before our visit, he was so happy that he can't contain his excitement and of course asked me a gazillion times for the next 2 days if we are REALLY going. Look at him gleaming and smiling when we finally reached The Luge.
He got all jumpy and restless until he sat down on the Luge cart where he gave me a HUGE grin as if saying "I am finally sitting on the Luge cart!!!!" 5 times! That's the number or rounds he went on his own and he felt so disappointed when its time to go. I think if we are able to go on endless rounds he will STILL be sad when we have to leave.
If you are afraid of height (like yours truly) don't let the ride up the hill in the Skyline stops you from experiencing the thrill ride in the Luge cart. No doubt its a slow ride up but its not as nerve wrecking as you imagined, there are a few things you can do to take your mind off that height thing.
1. Take selfies or welfies
Who can resist any opportunity to take selfies and welfies???
2. Pose for photo by the Luge camera
Shortly after ascending you will see a sign that says "SMILE!", get ready and freeze in a pose, after you see flashes you can relax (or start to get anxious or have anxiety attack hahaha!) coz that means your pose has been captured by the camera.
3. Take photos of the beautiful scenery
Look around you, the bird's eye view of the Singapore skyline will take your breathe away and you'll be lost in the beautiful view.
4. Take photo of your family or friends riding with you
Have funny poses (like DinoBoy in the photo below), show funny/fierce/scary faces or their worried face if they are scared of height too.
5. Take photo of your family or friends riding BEHIND or IN FRONT of you
No "powerful" DSLR needed, mobile camera can do the job just fine. To take photos of your family or friends sitting on the chairlift behind you, first you must brace yourself to turn your upper body around so that you can snap a quick photo of them. Don't freak out! Take it as a test of courage, if you pass it you will not be afraid of going up on the Skyline again and again and again.
6. Pose for photo by your family or friends riding IN FRONT or BEHIND you
Well, if you conquered taking photos then posing for photos for them is a piece of cake!
And if you are like me, by the time I edit, write something about the photo and post up in my instagram, its time to jump off the Skyline. I was too engrossed in it that I didn't have a chance to worry about
PS : The DinoFamily is not and will not be held liable if you accidentally dropped your dam freaking expensive cameras or mobile phones while having too much fun taking photos on the Skyline.

Now if the FUN factor is not enough to entice you to fly down to Skyline Luge at Sentosa, perhaps this will...
